Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications preferred
- Strong understanding of retail processes including merchandising, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise application ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to understand and translate business requirements into system solutions
- Lead discussions for process improvements and functional design to align with business needs
- Create and maintain clear documentation including functional designs and training materials
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-go-live support
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations
- Support and enhance reporting needs by analyzing data for senior leadership
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail developments and recommend new functionalities
- Collaborate with partners to maintain IT standards and governance
- Provide training and support to ensure user adoption and self-sufficiency
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while ensuring confidentiality
