Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise environment.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or equivalent systems) preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure seamless business operations.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and convert them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions on improving business processes, data flow, and functional design to ensure alignment between operational needs and Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for both technical and non-technical users.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing, deployment, and providing post-go-live support.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure the successful implementation of new features or patches.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring insights are accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements, release notes, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and new functionalities.
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures.
- Provide training and user support to promote adoption and self-sufficiency across business units.
- Use independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
