Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise context
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is strongly preferred
- In-depth understanding of retail business operations including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Skilled in application setup, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem by focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across various functions including buying, inventory, finance, and store execution
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and convert them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Lead discussions to enhance business processes, optimize data flow, and align operational needs with Oracles capabilities
- Create and maintain documentation like functional designs, process visuals, user manuals, and training materials tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-launch support
- Organize and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure that business processes function correctly and new features are successfully implemented
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application issues in Oracle Retail, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Meet reporting needs by compiling and interpreting data for senior management to ensure accuracy and actionable insights
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to propose new functionalities and process enhancements
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to uphold IT standards, governance, and change control practices
- Provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and foster independence across business groups
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
