Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise environment
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications by focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across various functions including buying, inventory, finance, and store execution
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Facilitate discussions on business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design to align business needs with Oracle capabilities
- Create and maintain clear documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Participate in and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure successful implementation of new features or patches
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues in Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership to ensure business insights are accurate and actionable
- Stay informed on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to recommend new functionalities and process improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures
- Provide training and user support to foster adoption and self-sufficiency among business groups
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
