Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise context.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and validation of end-to-end processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (such as AIF/BDI) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, particularly focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms, to ensure smooth business operations across various functions including buying, inventory, finance, and store execution.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to translate operational requirements into effective system solutions.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to ascertain business needs and convert them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead conversations on business process enhancements, data flow improvement, and functional design to achieve alignment between business requirements and Oracle capabilities.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation, including functional designs, process maps, user guides, and training materials for diverse audiences.
- Engage in and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live assistance.
- Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to verify business processes and ensure successful implementation of new features or patches.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations by collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are both accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to recommend new functionalities and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and self-sufficiency across business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
