Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise environment.
- At least 3 years of direct experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) preferred.
- In-depth understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience with application configuration, testing, and full process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations.
- Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners, translating operational needs into effective system solutions.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and develop scalable system solutions.
- Facilitate discussions on business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and alignment of functional design with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and keep updated clear documentation such as functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-deployment support.
- Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to verify business processes and ensure successful implementation of new features or updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Compile and interpret data to enhance reporting, ensuring insights provided to senior leadership are accurate and actionable.
- Keep up-to-date with Oracle Retail updates, making recommendations for new functionalities and process enhancements.
- Work with internal and external partners to comply with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols.
- Deliver training and support to end-users to foster adoption and self-sufficiency across various business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
