Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or equivalent systems) strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven track record of managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms, to ensure smooth business operations
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions
- Facilitate discussions regarding business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for various audiences
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure successful implementation of new features or patches
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Support reporting needs by compiling and analyzing data for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are accurate and actionable
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies, and recommend new functionalities and process enhancements
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols
- Provide training and end-user support to promote adoption and self-sufficiency across business groups
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
