Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is strongly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to navigate each department across facilities and communicate effectively both in-person and electronically.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across buying, inventory, finance, and store execution functions.
- Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to translate operational needs into effective system solutions and enhance business processes.
- Partner with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions regarding business process improvements, data flow optimization, and functional designs to ensure alignment between business needs and Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and guarantee successful implementation of new features or patches.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues within Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Compile and interpret data to enhance reporting needs for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are accurate and actionable.
- Keep up with Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to suggest new functionalities and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users to encourage adoption and independence across various business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
