Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and validation of end-to-end processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise application ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across buying, inventory, finance, and store execution.
- Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to convert operational requirements into system solutions and enhance business processes.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions aimed at improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and designing functionalities that align business needs with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for diverse audiences.
- Participate in and support all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure effective implementation of new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations in collaboration with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Support and enhance reporting requirements by analyzing data for senior management, ensuring that business insights are accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements, release notes, and new technologies to recommend functionality and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures when collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Provide training and support to end-users, encouraging adoption and self-sufficiency across business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
