Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise setting
- 3 years of direct experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or related systems) is highly preferred
- Strong grasp of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and validation of end-to-end processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Facilitate discussions regarding business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design to ensure congruence between business needs and Oracle capabilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training resources for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Engage in and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live assistance
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to verify business processes and confirm successful implementation of new features or updates
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, liaising with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Enhance reporting by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are precise and actionable
- Remain informed on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to advocate for new functionalities and process enhancements
- Team up with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols
- Provide training and end-user support to drive adoption and self-sufficiency among business units
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
