IT Business Systems Analyst

- Serve as a vital link between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to define operational needs and transform them into system solutions. - Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to ascertain business requirements and convert them into scalable system solutions utilizing Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules. - Facilitate discussions on enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and aligning business needs with Oracle capabilities. - Develop and maintain thorough documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Participate in and assist throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), covering requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. - Organize and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure business processes are validated and that new features or patches are effectively implemented. - Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams. - Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are accurate and actionable. - Stay informed on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and new technologies to propose new functionalities and process enhancements. - Partner with internal and external stakeholders to uphold IT standards, governance, and change control protocols. - Deliver training and end-user support to foster adoption and independence across business groups. - Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
