IT Business Analyst - Functional, 62443

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to map out business processes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Act as the main point of contact between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners regarding Oracle Fusion-related initiatives - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing processes, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discussions, workshops, and functional design meetings with internal teams and external vendors - Assist with configuration changes, testing, and rollout of new features or integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work in tandem with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Support month-end and year-end financial closing procedures, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and deadlines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and training materials - Conduct end-user training and provide support to promote adherence to standardized business processes - Aid in the enforcement of IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system performance reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership reviews - Collaborate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transaction data and timely processing - Engage with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integration, control, and audit requirements - Work alongside other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to facilitate smooth data flow across modules and platforms
