IT Business Analyst - Functional - Windsor

- Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and external partners to enhance, support, and optimize business processes and technologies related to accounting, financial reporting, and accounts payable - Document business processes, identify challenges, and propose system and process improvements in collaboration with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams - Analyze business requirements to create detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Assist in end-to-end testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features and integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Collaborate with developers and solution architects in validating designs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting root cause analysis of recurring system errors - Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring alignment of system processes with accounting principles and schedules - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide training and ongoing support to end-users to promote compliance with standardized business processes - Assist in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review - Work closely with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely transaction processing - Liaise with vendors, auditors, and business partners to assist with integrations, controls, and audit initiatives - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure smooth cross-module and cross-platform data flow
