IT Business Analyst - Functional - White Heath

- Serve as a vital link between the Finance department, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business workflows, uncover challenges, and suggest enhancements - Act as the main point of contact for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle implementation partners on Oracle Fusion projects - Assess and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing activities, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and evaluate the ongoing performance, data integrity, and compliance of financial applications - Conduct discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Assist with configuration updates, testing, and rollout of new features or integrations - Work with developers to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and analyze root causes for recurring system errors - Support month-end and year-end accounting processes to align system procedures with financial standards and deadlines - Generate and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and user training manuals - Provide end-user training to ensure adherence to standardized business procedures - Uphold IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership
