Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in supporting Finance or Accounting systems, preferably in a retail or multi-entity environment
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (Financials, GL, AP, or related modules)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial close processes, and AP workflows
- Experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, and functional testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational capabilities
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Capacity to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
- Capability to access and navigate each department within facilities
- Effective verbal communication skills with others (in-person and via electronic devices)
- Close visual acuity
Responsibilities
- Act as a pivotal link between Rural Kings Finance organization, IT, and external partners
- Document business processes, pinpoint pain points, and propose system and process enhancements alongside Accounting, Finance, and AP teams
- Serve as the main contact for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives
- Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets
- Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications
- Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors
- Support configurations, testing, and rollouts of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems
- Work with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for recurring system errors
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure system alignment with accounting principles and timelines
- Create and update documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides
- Provide end-user training and support for adoption and compliance with standardized business processes
- Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications
- Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review
- Collaborate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing of transactional data
- Support integration, controls, and audit requirements by coordinating with vendors, auditors, and business partners
- Work with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure seamless cross-module and cross-platform data flow
