IT Business Analyst - Functional - Watson

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document current business processes and identify areas for improvement - Act as the main point of contact between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners concerning Oracle Fusion-related projects - Analyze business requirements and create detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discussions, workshops, and design sessions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration adjustments, testing, and deployment of new features, integrations, or enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Work with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for persistent system errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure system processes adhere to accounting principles and schedules - Develop and maintain operational documentation, functional workflows, and user training materials - Provide training and support to end users to promote compliance with standardized processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and project updates for leadership
