IT Business Analyst - Functional - Villa Grove

- Serve as a primary liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion-related projects - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify issues, and propose process enhancements - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features and integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Work closely with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and investigate root causes for recurring system errors - Assist in the month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure alignment of system processes with accounting standards - Develop and maintain documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Deliver end-user training and support to ensure adherence and compliance with established business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accurate transactional data and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations and audit requirements - Work alongside other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
