IT Business Analyst - Functional - Vermilion

- Act as a crucial liaison between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes and recommend improvements - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules - Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including system integration and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, ensuring data integrity and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support changes and deployments of new features or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Work closely with developers and architects to validate designs and troubleshoot issues - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes to align with accounting principles - Create and maintain system documentation and user training guides - Provide end-user training and enforce IT governance and data standards across Finance applications - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accurate transactional data processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to meet integration and audit requirements - Work with other IT application teams to ensure smooth data flow across systems
