IT Business Analyst - Functional - Tuscola

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Partner with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and recommend enhancements - Analyze and transform business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules - Participate in all phases of testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of new features in Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure adherence to accounting principles - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support to ensure compliance with standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and executive updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transactional data processing - Work with vendors and auditors to support integrations and audit requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure smooth data flow across systems
