IT Business Analyst - Functional - Toledo

- Serve as a vital link between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Document business processes with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams, identify challenges and propose improvements - Act as the primary contact for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for various Oracle Fusion modules - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Assist in configuration changes, testing, and deploying new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure the design meets requirements and troubleshoot issues - Participate in month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to promote compliance with standardized processes - Enforce IT governance and data standards across Finance applications - Prepare system health summaries and updates for management review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactional data - Collaborate with vendors and business partners to support integrations and audit requirements - Coordinate with other IT application teams to guarantee smooth data flow across modules
