IT Business Analyst - Functional - Teutopolis

- Serve as the essential liaison between the Finance team, IT, and external partners to enhance business processes - Document business processes, identify challenges, and propose improvements in collaboration with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management - Participate in end-to-end testing, including system integration and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, data integrity, and ensure financial applications compliance - Lead requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes and testing for new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Collaborate with developers and architects to validate designs and address recurring system issues - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing, ensuring alignment with accounting timelines - Develop and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to promote compliance with business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies in Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accurate and timely transactional data processing - Work with vendors and auditors to support integrations and audit requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams for smooth cross-module data flow
