IT Business Analyst - Functional - Strasburg

- Act as a key liaison among the Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Document business processes with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams, identify issues, and recommend enhancements - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance and maintain data integrity within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Assist in configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features or integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to troubleshoot issues and analyze root causes of system errors - Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and timelines - Develop and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user training guides - Conduct end-user training to ensure compliance with standardized business processes - Assist in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy of transactional data and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners for integrations and audit requirements - Work closely with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) for efficient cross-module data flow
