IT Business Analyst - Functional - Stewardson

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Act as the main point of contact between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle implementation partners for Oracle Fusion projects - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance tests - Oversee and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, gather requirements, and facilitate functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and rollout of new features and integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Work together with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and investigate root causes for recurring errors - Assist during month-end and year-end financial closures to ensure alignment with accounting principles - Develop and sustain system documentation, process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to encourage compliance with standardized business processes - Aid in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Create system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership - Foster cooperation with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transactional data processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to meet integration, control, and audit needs - Work alongside other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
