IT Business Analyst - Functional - Sigel

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business workflows, identify challenges, and propose system and process enhancements - Act as the main point of contact between Finance stakeholders, IT departments, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing processes, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design conversations with internal teams and vendors - Provide support for configuration alterations, testing, and deployment of new features or improvements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Work alongside developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system errors - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring system operations align with accounting standards and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training manuals - Deliver training to end-users and offer ongoing support to ensure compliance with standardized business processes - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare reports on system health, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transactional data processing - Cooperate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to facilitate integrations and support controls and audit requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure seamless cross-module and cross-platform data flow
