IT Business Analyst - Functional - Sidney

- Act as a vital link between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Serve as the main point of contact between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle implementation partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in the end-to-end testing process, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Oversee and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead requirements workshops and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features and integrations in Oracle Fusion Cloud - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure adherence to accounting principles - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support for standardized business process compliance - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to guarantee accurate and timely processing of transactional data - Work with vendors and auditors to support integrations and compliance requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across various systems
