IT Business Analyst - Functional - Shelbyville

- Serve as a crucial liaison between Accounting, Finance, AP teams, and IT - Document business processes, pinpoint pain points, and suggest enhancements for systems and processes - Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules - Participate in end-to-end testing, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead requirement gatherings, discovery sessions, and design discussions with teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud - Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analyses for recurring errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes to maintain alignment with accounting standards - Develop training materials and system documentation while delivering end-user training for compliance - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and summaries for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accurate data handling and timely processing - Work with vendors, auditors, and business partners on integrations and audit requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure effective cross-module data flow
