IT Business Analyst - Functional - Sadorus

- Act as a critical link between our Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Document business processes, pinpoint areas of difficulty, and suggest improvements in systems and processes - Serve as the primary contact between finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for initiatives related to Oracle Fusion - Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management - Participate in comprehensive testing such as system integration and user acceptance - Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity and compliance within financial applications - Conduct discovery sessions and requirements workshops with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and the rollout of new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work alongside developers to troubleshoot and conduct root cause analyses for recurring issues - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, aligning systems with accounting standards - Develop and maintain system documentation and user training materials - Provide user training and support for process compliance - Enforce IT governance and data standards across finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Collaborate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transactional data and processing - Engage with vendors and auditors for integrations and compliance
