IT Business Analyst - Functional - Redmon

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance team, IT departments, and external partners related to Oracle Fusion initiatives - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document processes, identify issues, and suggest improvements - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features in Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Work with developers to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system errors - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes to align system practices with accounting principles - Produce and maintain documentation for systems, functional processes, and training materials - Deliver training and support to end-users for standardized business processes - Ensure adherence to IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare reports on system health, issues, and updates for leadership review - Collaborate with Finance, AP, and GL teams to ensure accurate transactional data and timely processing - Work alongside vendors, auditors, and business partners to meet integration and audit requirements - Coordinate with other IT application teams to ensure efficient cross-module data flow
