IT Business Analyst - Functional - Philo

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners to optimize processes and technology solutions - Document business processes, pinpoint issues, and recommend system and process enhancements with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for various Oracle Fusion modules including GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate actively in system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure performance and compliance - Oversee system performance, data integrity, and adherence to compliance within financial applications - Conduct discovery sessions and functional design discussions for project and enhancement delivery with internal teams and vendors - Manage configuration changes, testing, and the deployment of new features or integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Collaborate closely with developers and solution architects to validate designs and resolve recurring system issues - Support month-end and year-end closing processes in alignment with accounting regulations and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training resources - Provide end-user training to promote adoption and compliance with established business processes - Support IT governance and ensure data standards and security policies are upheld across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Work collaboratively with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and processing efficiency - Engage with vendors, auditors, and partners to fulfill integration, controls, and audit needs - Liaise with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
