IT Business Analyst - Functional - Pesotum

- Act as a pivotal liaison between Finance, IT, and external partners to enhance business processes and technology solutions - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to map out business processes, identify challenges, and propose system enhancements - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing procedures, encompassing system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Track and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with both internal teams and vendors - Support configuration adjustments, testing, and rollout of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work alongside developers and solution architects to confirm design accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring errors - Assist in managing month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment of system processes with accounting principles and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to guarantee adherence to standardized business processes - Aid in ensuring IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Generate system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review - Collaborate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transactional data and timely processing - Engage with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Work in conjunction with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
