IT Business Analyst - Functional - Oakland

- Serve as a crucial link between the Finance department, IT, and external partners, focusing on business process and technology solutions. - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to document processes, pinpoint issues, and suggest improvements. - Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management. - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. - Monitor ongoing system performance, data accuracy, and compliance within financial applications. - Lead discussions, workshops, and design meetings with internal teams and vendors regarding project requirements. - Assist with configuration changes, testing, and rollout of new features and integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems. - Collaborate with developers and solution architects for design validation, issue troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for recurring errors. - Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring system alignment with accounting standards and timelines. - Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, and training materials. - Provide end-user training and support to encourage adherence to standardized processes. - Ensure compliance with IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications. - Prepare reports on system health, issue summaries, and updates for leadership.
