IT Business Analyst - Functional - Newman

- Serve as a vital link between Rural Kings Finance department, IT functions, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document operational processes, pinpoint challenges, and propose enhancements - Act as the main point of contact for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners on Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business needs into precise functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, data accuracy, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Partner with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for persistent system errors - Aid in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide training and support to end-users, promoting adherence to standardized business processes - Uphold IT governance, data standards, and security regulations across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for executive review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure transactional data integrity and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to facilitate integrations, controls, and audit needs - Coordinate with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
