IT Business Analyst - Functional - Neoga

- Serve as a vital link between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document processes, identify challenges, and suggest enhancements - Act as the main contact between Finance stakeholders and IT teams for Oracle Fusion-related projects - Analyze and interpret business needs into functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in end-to-end testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Host discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Assist in testing and deploying new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion and affiliated systems - Work closely with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes of recurring system errors - Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment of system procedures with accounting standards - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process diagrams, and user training materials - Conduct end-user training and offer support to guarantee compliance with standardized business processes - Assist in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system performance reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Coordinate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations, controls, and audit needs - Work with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
