IT Business Analyst - Functional - Mt Zion

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes and identify areas for improvement - Act as the primary liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in end-to-end testing, which includes system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system errors - Assist in the financial closing processes at month-end and year-end to ensure alignment with accounting principles - Develop and maintain documentation, including functional process flows and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support to promote compliance with standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare reports on system health, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Coordinate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing of transactional data - Work with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations and audit requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams to ensure seamless cross-module and cross-platform data flow
