IT Business Analyst - Functional - Montrose

- Serve as the primary link between the Finance department, IT, and external partners to optimize systems and processes - Document business processes and identify areas for enhancement in collaboration with the Accounting and Finance teams - Translate complex business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules - Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including system integration and user acceptance testing - Assess ongoing system performance and ensure data integrity in financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and functional design discussions with internal teams and external vendors - Support the implementation of configuration changes and new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and analyze root causes of recurring errors - Contribute to month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure compliance with accounting principles - Develop and maintain process documentation and user training materials - Deliver training to end-users to promote adherence to standardized business processes - Prepare reports and issue summaries for leadership review as needed - Coordinate with various teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing of transactions - Work with vendors and auditors to fulfill integration and compliance requirements
