IT Business Analyst - Functional - Mode

- Act as the key liaison between the Finance department, IT teams, and external partners for Oracle Fusion-related initiatives - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and propose improvements - Analyze and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and more - Participate in various testing phases, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance in financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with stakeholders - Support configuration changes and assist in the deployment of new features or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Work collaboratively with developers to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting standards - Develop and maintain documentation, process flows, and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support for standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy in transactional data and processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations and compliance
