IT Business Analyst - Functional - Metcalf

- Serve as a vital link between Rural Kings Finance department, IT teams, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document processes, identify challenges, and propose system improvements - Act as the main point of contact for Finance stakeholders and Oracle AMS or implementation partners regarding Oracle Fusion initiatives - Convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for various Oracle Fusion modules including GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in testing phases such as system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance in financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal and external teams - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features in Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and schedules - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to promote adherence to standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Generate system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership
