IT Business Analyst - Functional - Mattoon

- Act as a key intermediary between the Finance team, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to outline business processes, pinpoint challenges, and propose system and process enhancements - Serve as the main contact for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners regarding Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing processes, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Continuously monitor and assess system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration modifications, testing, and deployment of new features and enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to verify designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure alignment with accounting principles and timeframes - Develop and maintain documentation for systems, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to promote the adoption and compliance of standardized business processes - Aid in upholding IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for management review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to guarantee the accuracy of transactional data and timely processing - Engage with vendors, auditors, and business partners to assist with integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Coordinate with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
