IT Business Analyst - Functional - Martinsville

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance division, IT teams, and external partners, focusing on optimizing business processes and technology solutions for accounting and financial reporting - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management - Engage in end-to-end testing, including system integration and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features and enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work closely with developers and solution architects to validate designs and facilitate troubleshooting for recurring system errors - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting principles - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support to promote adherence to standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Ensure data accuracy and timely processing by closely coordinating with AP, GL, and Finance teams - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations and audit requirements - Work with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
