IT Business Analyst - Functional - Macon

- Act as a vital conduit between the Finance department, IT teams, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to document business workflows, identify challenges, and propose system enhancements - Serve as the main point of contact for Finance stakeholders regarding Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance and ensure data integrity and compliance in financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Manage configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features or integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Collaborate with developers to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring issues - Assist in the month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and training materials - Provide end-user training and support for standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and updates for leadership review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transaction data and timely processing - Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and business partners for integrations and audit needs - Work together with other IT application teams to ensure seamless cross-module data flow
