IT Business Analyst - Functional - Lovington

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance, IT, and external partners regarding Oracle Fusion-related initiatives - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, identify challenges, and suggest system and process enhancements - Analyze and convert business needs into comprehensive functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in end-to-end testing, which includes system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration adjustments, testing, and rollout of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Work with developers and solution architects to verify designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis of recurring system errors - Aid in the month-end and year-end financial closing procedures, ensuring system processes align with accounting standards and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to promote adoption and compliance with standardized business processes - Assist in upholding IT governance, data standards, and security policies in Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review - Collaborate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and prompt processing of transactional data - Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Work alongside other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
