IT Business Analyst - Functional - Longview

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance department, IT teams, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to document processes and identify areas for enhancement - Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements for Oracle Fusion modules (GL, AP, Cash Management, Fixed Assets) - Participate in comprehensive testing such as system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, data integrity, and compliance across financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and implementation of new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud - Work alongside developers and solution architects to verify designs and troubleshoot recurring issues - Assist during month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards - Develop and maintain system documentation, user training guides, and process flows - Provide end-user training and support to promote adoption of standardized business processes - Coordinate with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accuracy in transactional data - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to fulfill integration and audit requirements - Work with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across platforms
