IT Business Analyst - Functional - Lerna

- Act as a vital bridge between the Finance organization, IT teams, and external partners to enhance business processes and optimize technology solutions - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to document existing processes, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Serve as the main point of contact for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners regarding Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in various testing phases including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Continuously monitor and assess system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with internal teams and vendors - Assist with configuration changes, testing, and deploying new features or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Work closely with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Aid in the month-end and year-end financial closure processes, ensuring alignment of system processes with accounting standards - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to facilitate the adoption of standardized business processes - Support IT governance, data standardized practices, and security policies across Finance applications - Generate system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for management review - Ensure accuracy of transactional data and timely processing through collaboration with AP, GL, and Finance teams - Work alongside vendors, auditors, and business partners to assist with integrations, controls, and compliance audits - Coordinate with other IT application teams to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
