IT Business Analyst - Functional - Kansas

- Act as a vital link between Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business workflows, pinpoint issues, and suggest system and process enhancements - Serve as the main contact for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing processes, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Provide support for configuration adjustments, testing, and deployment of new features, integrations, or enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to verify designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for persistent system errors - Assist in month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring system processes comply with accounting standards and timeframes - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Conduct end-user training and support to ensure adherence to standardized business processes - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for management review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accurate transactional data and timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to address integrations, controls, and audit needs - Coordinate with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure seamless data flow across modules and platforms
