IT Business Analyst - Functional - Janesville

- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, pinpoint issues, and suggest system enhancements - Act as the primary liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Oversee and assess ongoing system performance, data accuracy, and compliance across financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration modifications, testing, and deployments of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and address root causes of recurring system errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing tasks, ensuring system processes adhere to accounting standards and schedules - Create and manage system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to encourage adoption and compliance with standardized business processes - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Generate system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership review - Coordinate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to guarantee transactional data accuracy and timely processing - Liaise with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Work in partnership with other IT application teams to ensure seamless cross-module and cross-platform data flow
