IT Business Analyst - Functional - Hume

- Act as a key liaison between our Finance teams, IT staff, and external partners to enhance and optimize business processes - Document business processes, pinpoint pain points, and recommend improvements in systems and procedures - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and regulatory compliance within financial applications - Facilitate requirements discussions, design sessions, and workflow discussions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and launching new features, integrations, or enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work alongside developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis on recurring errors - Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and timelines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to foster compliance with standardized business practices - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and executive updates for leadership
