IT Business Analyst - Functional - Humboldt

- Act as a vital link between the accounting, finance, and AP teams, documenting business processes, identifying challenges, and suggesting improvements - Serve as the main point of contact between finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Analyze and convert business needs into detailed specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, data accuracy, and compliance within financial applications - Conduct discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Provide support for configuration changes, testing, and the implementation of new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work with developers and solution architects to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system errors - Assist in financial closing processes, ensuring system alignment with accounting standards and timelines - Develop and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user training materials - Deliver training and support to ensure adherence to standardized business processes - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across financial applications - Prepare reports on system health, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Collaborate closely with AP, GL, and finance teams to verify data accuracy and ensure timely processing - Coordinate efforts with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations and compliance requirements - Work with other IT application teams to promote smooth data flow across platforms
