IT Business Analyst - Functional - Hindsboro

- Act as a key liaison between Rural Kings Finance department, IT teams, and external partners regarding accounting and finance processes - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, pinpoint issues, and propose improvements - Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Track and evaluate ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and external vendors - Support configuration changes, thorough testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements in Oracle Fusion Cloud and integrated systems - Work alongside developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and analyze root causes of recurring errors - Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and deadlines - Create and maintain relevant system documentation, functional process flows, and training materials for users - Provide user training and support to foster adherence to standardized business processes - Help enforce IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Prepare system health assessments, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Collaborate effectively with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy of transactional data and timely processing calls - Engage with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integration and compliance requirements - Coordinate with other IT application teams to ensure smooth data flow across various platforms
