IT Business Analyst - Functional - Hidalgo

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance organization, IT teams, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business workflows, identify challenges, and suggest improvements - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing phases, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor system performance, ensuring data accuracy and compliance within financial applications - Lead requirement workshops, design discussions, and discovery sessions with internal teams and vendors - Support configuration changes, testing, and rollout of new features within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Partner with developers and solution architects to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analyses for recurring system errors - Aid in month-end and year-end accounting processes to ensure alignment with accounting principles - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional flows, and user training resources - Provide training and support to users to ensure adherence to standardized business procedures - Enforce IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership inspection
