IT Business Analyst - Functional - Gays

- Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and external partners to enhance business processes - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document processes, identify challenges, and propose improvements - Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor ongoing system performance, data integrity, and adherence to compliance requirements in financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal and external stakeholders - Support system configuration changes, testing, and deployment of new features and integrations within Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Work with developers and solution architects to validate design, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes for recurring system errors - Aid in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and schedules - Develop and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training guides - Provide end-user training and support to promote compliance with standardized processes - Assist in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security policies for Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for leadership review - Ensure transactional data accuracy and timely processing in collaboration with AP, GL, and Finance teams - Support integrations, controls, and audit requirements by working with vendors, auditors, and business partners - Collaborate with related IT application teams to ensure smooth data flow across modules and platforms
